I started going to the gym. Oh yes-- me, the biggest couch potato
you will ever know. Trying to make it 45 minutes- an hour a day,
and have been successful so far (even found a workout buddy).
No other breaking news.
Just need some motivation.
See? If I can, you definitely can.
How often and how long do you usually exercise, loves?
Do you go to the gym, or do you prefer working out at home?
Thematic pictures for today:
pardon my enthusiasm... everything always seems rather
exciting in the beginning, don't you think? :) I know these girls are
not necessarily super-skinny, but I can only dream of such flexibility;
plus their bodies are just beautiful.
Love you, my darlings!
Stay strong! :)
Congrats on working so hard at the gym, that's totally awesome!! I wish I could join a gym, but aside from not having the money to do so right now I also can't risk the attention it would bring to my weight. :( But eventually I will! So I work out at home, some days more than others but I try to do crunches, push-ups, the normal stuff every day and I like to find workout routines on YouTube to try. One of my favorites is:

I've never belonged to a gym or fitness program before, and I'm a perfectionist so I really want to make sure I'm doing it exactly right, and they explain everything really well and the video is high quality. I'm not a "busy mom" either but I also don't like getting caught exercising, so the quicker the better. And my butt definitely feels that one! Haha! All of their videos are excellent!
And then I try to have a "fun" workout atleast once a week, so belly dancing, free dancing or yoga are normally my favorites, even if yoga doesn't burn much fat.
Sorry for the huge post! I love your blog, that thinspo is AMAZING, thank you so so much! Stay strong and good luck, you're totally inspiring me! <3
It's great that you're going to the gym!
ReplyDeleteI always work out at home, i have dvds of yoga, pilates, aerobics...But i guess it's more fun to work out with somebody else and not alone. I'm definitely going to the gym if i have more money.
Lovely pictures! I'm also flexible, i can do splits and i can touch the back of my head with my toes :)
Take care and stay strong ♥
congrats on the new fitness kick :) I really want my running mojo back.
ReplyDeletefit girls are almost more thinspiring than just the willowy models. They work harder for it and what they have is far more achievable than winning the genetic lottery.
Have fun girly, take advantage of all this enthusiasm! as always I'm super proud of you <3
love,
jax
that's awesome! I'm so proud of you! I LOVED the photos in this post, they all made me want to go out and run or go and get my fitness on! I especially loved the first one, the door sign. As a runner, I can really identify with it - sometimes running is the only sanctuary in this crazy world of mine. tell us how the gym went! As I said, I like to run. For me, I like to go out on the canyon trails near my house. My favorite is a loop that goes to a waterfall, 6 miles total. I also do weights, recumbent biking, and jump rope when I feel like it. When I feel like it. those are the most important words haha!
ReplyDeletegood luck and tell us how it goes,

Ooh, I love the fitspo! I admire those girls in the pics because they worked hard to not lose weight, but to change their body for the better! I love going to the gym but hate working out at home. My gym-going has been off and on all the time- some weeks I'll go almost every day, other weeks things get in the way and I don't go for a while. When I do go, I try to do 45 min-1 hour of cardio and then about 30 minutes of strength training =). I'm glad you've decided to go to them gym now! Your body will appreciate you for getting some exercise! ♥
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures :-)
ReplyDeleteI usually go to the gym and/or do something active outside everyday. I do a lot of walking since I take public transit most places. I do yoga 2x a week for an hour each time. I try to lift weights 2x a week too. Not that snowboarding season is over I ride my bike a lot and skateboard when I can.
Nice job on hitting the gym! If you get bored there go hit the outdoors and run, play tennis, hike, or something active.
Xoxoxo
Those pictures just totally got me motivated to get back on track! Thanks so much and I'm proud of you for going to the gym. Keep it up girl!
